Lisa Geduldig is a Bay Area comedian and comedy producer. She's the creator, producer and MC of a variety of comedy shows, including the acclaimed Kung Pao Kosher Comedy, a San Francisco tradition that will celebrate its 25th anniversary this December. We sat down with Lisa to find out what places in San Francisco tickle her funny bone, and which things any visitors should be sure to see and do.
Describe your perfect day in San Francisco.
Go to my community garden around the corner from my apartment to do some weeding and watering and chat with other gardeners. Go to We Be Sushi for lunch. Borrow a dog and drive to Fort Funston and take a walk on the beach.
What should every visitor to San Francisco do at least once?
Explore the murals in the Mission.
What’s your favorite place to take a photo or read a book?
The succulent garden at the Arboretum in Golden Gate Park.
Where do you indulge your artistic side in San Francisco?
On a comedy stage.
What’s your favorite event that happens in San Francisco?
My event, Kung Pao Kosher Comedy: Jewish Comedy on Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant, of course!

Sitting on the beach listening to the ocean, eating Tokyo Maki rolls.
