Tourism Gives Back
What is Tourism Gives Back?
Tourism gives back is a community volunteer program that focuses on engaging the tourism and hospitality industries in the communities while strengthening relationships with key stakeholders in areas which affect the visitor experience. Our “Tourism Gives Back” program is an important component of our organization. Successfully promoting San Francisco as a destination means doing our part to make sure the city and its people are succeeding.
Project Homeless Connect
San Francisco Travel will join other hospitality industry professionals to volunteer for Project Homeless Connect on December 16, Bill Graham Auditorium. PHC is a one-stop shop service where individuals experiencing homelessness can access critical resources including Medi-Cal, dental and vision care, and employment assistance. Events are held 4 times per year. All volunteer shifts have been filled for the December 16 event. To be added to the waitlist, please email Cara Bruno, firstname.lastname@example.org.
