Montesacro, focuses on the ancient Roman pinsa, a delicious flatbread similar to pizza. 54 Mint partner Gianluca Legrottaglie opened Montesacro in tribute to his hometown of Rome the walls are lined with vintage photography of the Italian capital and the space is centered by a massive, antique bread oven built into the space roughly 100 years ago when it was a bakery. Described as "Rome meets 1920's jazz bar", Montesacro is located on the Civic Center-SOMA border, just down the street from Union Square, the Moscone Center, the Financial District, and the hub of many of SFs tech companies.
