North Beach is beautiful by day and it rocks by night. Whether you want a romantic coffee drink or to dance to a rock band, North Beach is the place to be. Everything is in easy walking distance and Grant Street's narrow walkways lead to some of San Francisco's oldest and coolest bars. Here are some of my favorites. They're all great but we have ranked our favorite, they are all a lot of fun on a wild (or somewhat relaxing) night!

#6 Gino and Carlo - Cocktail Lounge and Sports Bar: If you are looking for a real bar with the character that made North Beach famous, Gino and Carlo is the place for you. No glitz, no flash - just drinks made right and lots of sports. Very happening on soccer weekends, and a good place to chill on a rainy day. Personal service - they really take care of you here.
