Holiday Inn Civic Center - Convenient to San Francisco government offices, Moscone Convention Center, and Union Square but in a bit of a "spicy" neighborhood. The neighborhood can be described as urban, spicy, or dodgy. Homelessness is relatively prevalent around the hotel area.

There are great prices on this hotel as the location can be convenient but a mixed area. The hotel is in the heart of San Francisco - with easy access to shopping, restaurants, theater, opera, and most all major tourist attractions in San Francisco.

You get a great price and a clean, nice place to sleep and relax from a top hotel chain. For a budget choice - I don't think the Holiday Inn Civic Center can be beat for the price. Tip: by joining the Holiday Inn Priority Club, you may be able to get free breakfasts at this hotel.

This is an older hotel that has been maintained in good condition. The location on Market Street is very close to the BART subway train for San Francisco and also San Francisco muni bus and light rail system that allows access to the entire Bay area very quickly.
