Lombard Plaza Motel represents an questionable trade-off in discount San Francisco lodging, at an older motel with very limited service. The
motel is located in the the busy Lombard corridor between two residential area's - The Marina & Pacific
Heights/ Union Street.
The discount budget motel has prices averaging $110. Their rooms are renovated without being tiny. The service is basic and complaints have
been received regarding cleanliness of the rooms. Telephone calls go through a manually answered switchboard and there is no voice mail (complaints have been
received regarding incoming phone accessability).
G.M. was disappointed writing "We stayed there one night in room ###. The rate ($50 plus tax) for two beds was not bad, however, the
room was terrible. One of the beds was totally wet which we did not find out until late night. The bath tub did not drain well and the pipes made very loud
noises when the hot water was turned on. It was a very unpleasant experience! The front desk clerks did not want to deal with my complaint-- even giving me a
FAKE name of their manager to call!"
Rates average $110 per night + tax. 2026 Lombard Street

The location is perfect, right in the middle of
Lombard street and very close to the important
touristic atraccions. In the other hand, the
hotel had a lot of inconvenients, some of them
expremely unpleasant:
-Cold water for the shower
-Very Limited parking
-Staff was not nice
-The rooms were so humid that the doors couldnt
close completley
