Getting to and from the airport can be a huge pain in a lot of cities, but arriving at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) from San
Francisco, and vice versa, is usually pretty effortless and painless if you know what to expect.
Judging by the number of Lorrie's vans you see running around San Francisco, this service seems to be one of the most frequently-used. And
for a good reason; they've made a name for themselves as a trustworthy service. Their dispatchers are more than happy to dispense someone to pick you up - either
from SFO or the City - no matter what time of day or night (like, say, when you suddenly realize BART won't be running in time to get you to or from your
flight), and while it might take a few minutes for them to get to you, they guarantee they will be there.
You can pre-pay over the phone, and include tip in your payment, so you don't have to worry about carrying a wad of cash with you, or digging
your credit card out of your mess of luggage. Be aware that they may charge a couple dollars more or less, depending on your location in the city.
