Ramada Plaza International - Located near Civic Center on Market Street, within walking distance to Union Square shopping. 

Hotel Mark Twain - Located near Union Square shopping just north of Market Street.  Budget oriented and no longer part of Ramada.

Mitchell writes, "We stayed one night at the Ramada Inn at Union Square, but were so disappointed that we went in search of other lodging. We arrived in the middle of a heat wave and found the hotel was not air conditioned. In addition, the room was so small that it was difficult for my wife and son and I to maneuver around our suitcases. We wound up staying the next seven days at the Handlery on Geary just off Union Square and were very pleased with the accommodations we got there."

Pricing Indications:  On July 23, 2003 - the Ramada Inn Mark Twain at Union Square quoted rates for September 18-25, 2003 ranging from $90 - $140.  The median rate quoted was $120.

Ramada Limited Downtown - Located near Union Square shopping South of Market.  Budget oriented.
