One of San Francisco's hottest luxury restaurants, Restaurant Gary Danko earned a coveted Mobil
Five Star award. Why? In two words, Gary Danko rocks! Beginning his
career at Beringer Vineyards as executive chef in Napa, Gary moved to Chateau Souverain in
Sonoma and on to the Ritz Carlton. Gary's final stint before opening his own
restaurant was at Viognier's gourmet in San Francisco.

ranked Gary Danko as one of the ten best new chefs in America, but in 1999 his destiny was
revealed with the amazing Danko. The James Beard Foundation named Gary the best
chef in California.
