San Francisco Sunset District

Neighborhood Review

San Francisco's Sunset District is a huge residential neighborhood grid located South of Golden Gate Park. All the houses and apartment buildings here look the same, except they are painted different bright colors. Lots of families live here. The Inner Sunset (Inner means the low numbered Avenues under 19th Avenue) has some great cafes and restaurants around 9th and Irving Street.

Other than that, the Sunset is a cheap place to live due to its relative inconvenience, with not a lot for tourists to do. The 9th and Irving is a cool area to hang out and hit up some cheap San Francisco restaurants or coffee.
