The Wilsey Court
The Wilsey Court and John Buchanan Lobby comprise the central artery of the de Young and can accommodate up to 400 seated, with room for dancing, stage and bars. The expansive space with its soaring ceiling is easily transformed to serve as a canvas for any style of event.
Hamon Observation Tower
A spectacular glass walled space with 360-degree panoramic views of downtown San Francisco, Golden Gate Park, the Bay, and the Marin headlands, the Tower is available as its own event space or as an add-on to a larger rental package. Start guests off with a cocktail reception to watch the sunset, before making your way downstairs to Wilsey Court or the Piazzoni Murals Room for dinner.
de Young Café and Terrace
The de Young Café provides the only indoor/outdoor rental space. Located adjacent to the Barbro Osher Sculpture Garden, the Café features hand-blown glass light fixtures, modern design elements and glass walls providing views onto the Music Concourse and garden. The de Young Café rental includes use of indoor and outdoor Café tables and chairs.
Also an unforgettable wedding location, the de Young's facilities can accommodate unforgettable private events for 25 or 400 guests. The de Young has been recognized by Borrowed & Blue as “a venue unlike any other” in the Oct. 17, 2014 feature Top 4 Urban Wedding Venues in San Francisco.
