Calling all travelers and tech fans! United Airlines is hosting a pop-up Tech Showcase on Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23 2018 to demonstrate several key new technological enhancements available to pasengers.

United's Tech Showcase will be open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Tuesday, and 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Wednesday in Pocket Park, located at the corner of Fourth and Howard Streets in San Francisco's SoMa neighborhood.

United representatives will demonstrate check-in capabilities using Amazon's Alexa, Google Assistant via phone or Google Home, and through Fitbit's Iconic smartwatch. Mobile technician solutions will also be showcased, which modernize the work performed by aircraft maintenance technicians.

In addition to a demonstration of recent improvements to United's website, a virtual reality tour of the new United Polaris Lounge locations will be available. The United Polaris Lounge at San Francisco International Airport, which opened in late April, features 440 seats across two levels and more than 28,000 square feet, 492 power outlets and 492 USB ports,  five private daybeds, eight shower suites, eight pieces of art by Bay Area artists, and much more.

Refreshments will be available, and United Airlines will offer the opportunity for an attendee to win two roundtrip tickets.
