Kimberly Lee promoted from convention services coordinator to convention services manager at the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau

Kimberly Lee has been promoted at the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau (SFCVB) to convention services manager in the convention division.

December 28, 2009 — Kimberly Lee has been promoted at the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau (SFCVB) to convention services manager in the convention division. She was formerly the convention services coordinator and began her tenure at the SFCVB as sales records coordinator.

In her new position, Lee will work with meeting planners on needs for their upcoming meetings, as well as plan and coordinate site inspections for pre-planning trips for clients with meetings in San Francisco.

"I am please to promote Kimberly," says Kathryn Horton, senior director of convention services. "Always reliable, conscientious and with her knowledge of our CRM system, she continues to be a great asset to the Bureau."

Before joining the SFCVB in 2006, Lee worked as a consultant with Self-Help for the Elderly and was an intern at Lockheed Martin Technical Operations at Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA.

Lee holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
