MYSF Insider Tips from Partner Events

San Francisco Travel Ambassador Training Edition

See what our newest Partnership Ambassadors have to say about their favorite places in San Francisco. Our latest partner event happened on Nov. 9, 2016, when representatives from different San Francisco Travel partners attended a Partnership Ambassador training and got a bonus MYSF presentation.

We’ll be adding more Insider Tips after each Partner event so be sure to check back and see what your colleagues are saying about San Francisco.

MYSF Insider Tips

One of my favorite places to recommend to visitors and friends is Pier 39! It's one place where you can find all different types of stores and dining places. Plus, it is a great view of the bay and all of the sea lions!

-Jumana from Joy Holiday

My favorite place in the city, any time of the year, is the Lyon Street Steps. From the top of the stairs, you get a beautiful view of the bay, the sailboats, the gorgeous Palace of Fine Arts and the steps themselves are so pleasant to look at. There aren't too many tourists so I highly recommend checking out this incredible spot!

-Leslie from The Box

For adults in the know, the Academy’s weekly NightLife series offers music, creatures, and cocktails every Thursday. The museum stays open late and each event features new programming and special themes every week. From fascinating talks by astronauts and deep sea divers to live performances by local bands and top comedians, NightLife gives visitors a chance to experience the museum after dark.

-Allison from the California Academy of Sciences

Airbnb San Francisco Locals List

Whether you're into local produce or burritos, graffiti or go-go dancing, getting lost on a hike or amongst the shelves in an old Beat hangout, feeling like a local here takes nothing more than an open mind and a healthy dose of curiosity.

Airbnb reached out to their eclectic San Francisco host community and compiled a list of their neighborhood favorites. Illustrated by Agnes Lee, The Local List will guide you through muraled alleys and reclusive vistas, from the Embarcadero to Lands End and back. Click here to check it out.
