San Francisco Travel Adds Daniel Schwartz as Tourism Senior Manager-North America

The San Francisco Travel Association has announced the addition of Daniel Schwartz as Tourism Senior Manager-North America.


Nov. 16, 2015 – The San Francisco Travel Association has announced the addition of Daniel Schwartz as Tourism Senior Manager-North America, effective Nov. 30, 2015.

Schwartz will be responsible for San Francisco Travel’s tourism promotion efforts in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, working closely with tour operators, wholesalers and airlines in those markets.

Most recently, Schwartz was Marketing Officer with Etihad Airways.  Previous positions included Deputy Promotions Manager, North America Representative Office for Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing. He also provided business analysis and marketing support for Air Promotion Group (APG-USA).   

Hailing from New Jersey, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and also completed studies at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

“We saw Daniel as the perfect choice based on our current needs, especially as it relates to our partnership with SFO and to expanding our efforts in the domestic, Canadian and Mexican tourism markets,” said Tom Kiely, San Francisco Travel’s executive vice president of tourism.
