You may already be familiar with the iconic and more than a century-old Anchor Brewing Company in San Francisco's Potrero Hill, but what you probably don't know is that the historic brewery is also the home of Anchor Distilling Company, established in 1993 as a top secret project led by visionary and craft beverage pioneer, Fritz Maytag.
After 23 years, Anchor Distilling Company has opened our doors to the public, with the launch of The Anchor Distilling Tasting Room. The one hour intimate seated tastings are $35/pp and are held every Thursday and Friday. Seats are limited so reservations are highly recommended. Guests will begin the tour with a quick stroll through Anchor's own edible roof garden, planted with botanicals used to make our fine spirits. then our beverage expert will guide you through Anchor's unique production process and help you explore the flavors and aromas of Anchor's iconic spirits. Each guest will have the opportunity to taste Junipero Gin, Genevieve Gin, Old Tom Gin, HOPHEAD Vodka, Old Potrero 18th Century Whiskey, and Old Potrero Straight Rye Whiskey.
Tours take place at Anchor Brewers and Distillers, all guests must be 21 and over and have a valid photo ID.
