There are few people with a deeper connection to the Castro District than David Hegarty. For more than 30 years, he has played the mighty Wurlitzer organ in the landmark Castro Theatre. In 2015, he led a campaign to build one of the largest organs in the world at the theater, which will allow daily performances to continue and expand educational opportunities.
