San Francisco Travel has moved to new offices that are as exciting and unique as the destination that the organization has promoted since 1909. The new headquarters on the 29th floor at One Front Street has been created to reflect the spirit and creativity of the city while incorporating cutting edge design, a preference for local artists and materials and a commitment to sustainability.
At its 102nd Annual Luncheon today, San Francisco Travel presented the Crystal Bridge Award to the American Bar Association (ABA). Now in its third year, the award is presented annually to honor major convention customers that bring outstanding events with significant impact for San Francisco. Past awards have been presented to Oracle and the American Geophysical Union.
The San Francisco Travel Association has selected ten unique businesses to receive its 2012/2013 Neighborhood Partnership Grants. Now in its third year, the grant program was created to extend the economic impact of San Francisco’s tourism industry into the city’s diverse neighborhoods and involve more businesses located outside the traditional visitor areas in San Francisco Travel’s programs.
