GLBT Travelers Rank San Francisco As Top “Gay-Friendly” Destination

According to a new national survey conducted by the Washington, D.C.-based Travel Industry of America (TIA), San Francisco is the top gay-friendly destination in the U.S., outranking its nearest contender, Key West, FL, by almost 20 percent.

To reinforce this warm welcome, the San Francisco Travel Association has redesigned its gay travel website and developed a new marketing campaign to remind lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual (LGBT) travelers that “The Gate is Always Open for You.”
