A time-honored tradition happens every third Sunday of May in San Francisco. It’s called Bay to Breakers, the oldest consecutively run annual footrace in the world and a tradition that people from far and wide come to the city to participate in. This year, the marathon celebrates being newly anointed as a sanctioned USA Track & Field qualifier race for the 2016 Olympic Team Trials, which is a first in the Bay Area.
