Carrie Davis Joins the San Francisco Travel Association as Director of Strategic Alliances

The San Francisco Travel Association has named Carrie Davis as director of strategic alliances. In this role, Davis will be responsible for developing and managing strategic and integrated partnerships that drive incremental revenue and further the mission of San Francisco Travel.

July 30, 2010 — The San Francisco Travel Association has named Carrie Davis as director of strategic alliances. In this role, Davis will be responsible for developing and managing strategic and integrated partnerships that drive incremental revenue and further the mission of San Francisco Travel.

Davis was previously with SF Chefs where she worked with Andrew Freeman & Co. and the Golden Gate Restaurant Association to develop the event, lead the sponsorship and marketing team, and work with brands such as Visa, Starbucks, Esquire and Yelp. Previously, she worked at Google where she created and sold retail partnerships to companies including Williams-Sonoma and the Gap. Davis also spent more than four years at WHERE Magazine in advertising sales.

“We are excited about having Carrie join San Francisco Travel to enhance our existing partnerships as well as expand our collaborations into nontraditional arenas,” said Matt Stiker, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for San Francisco Travel. “Her experience demonstrated that she is dedicated to pursuing partners while building long lasting and extraordinary relationships with them.”
