Jun. 13, 2014 — San Francisco Travel has secured Sidney Lovett Hunter for the position of Manager, Convention Sales. She assists customers located in Northern California (except those in Silicon Valley and San Francisco) in sourcing and planning ‘self-contained’ meetings in San Francisco that do not include Moscone Convention Center. She also assists in booking partner hotels and services throughout Northern California.
Hunter brings 28 years of professional experience in the hospitality industry, including sales and marketing positions with the worked for Hyatt Hotels in Monterey, Sacramento, Burlingame, Palo Alto, and San Diego.
She holds a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from San Jose State University. Professional affiliations include Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), Meeting Professional International (MPI/Northern California Chapter), American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals (NCBMP). Hunter also volunteers for Just in Time for Foster Youth which specializes in helping transitional foster youth between the ages of 18-26.
