The Hella Mega Tour Hits Oracle Park on August 27th
Oracle Park welcomes back rock band Green Day for the Hella Mega Tour, presented by Harley-Davidson, on Friday, Aug. 27, 2021. The rescheduled tour still features popular favorites Fall Out Boy and Weezer. Special guest, The Interrupters, have also been added to the show. The tour, promoted by Live Nation, will feature an arsenal of hits, such as “American Idiot,” “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” “Sugar We’re Goin Down,” “Island in the Sun” and “Beverly Hills.”
The rescheduled global tour will bring the bands to some of the most renowned ballparks, including Wrigley Field, PNC Park and, of course, Oracle Park.
In 2005, Green Day performed a legendary show at the ballpark on their American Idiot Tour, as the East Bay band headlined a sold-out show in front of their hometown crowd of 42,000. The punk rock trio, comprised of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool, has sold more than 85 million records worldwide and collected five Grammy Awards. Fall Out Boy, Weezer, and special guest The Interrupters will all be making their Oracle Park debuts.
