July 6, 2009 — San Francisco offers many different ways to spice up a Sunday brunch and pair entertainment with good food. From live to broadcast music, to a cruise on the bay, food lovers will end the weekend on a high note. “Gospel Brunch” 1300 on Fillmore 1300 Fillmore St., San Francisco, CA 94115 Japantown/Fillmore
A classic “Gospel Brunch” the first and third Sunday of each month, where a powerful performance accompanies your meal. Local artist Michael Cheadle and the Future Perfect Band perform. Executive Chef David Lawrence complements the singing with music for the palate; a three-course prix fixe meal that includes a selection of entrees, including 1300 on Fillmore’s take on scrambled eggs and bacon, a spinach and goat cheese frittata, cinnamon brioche French toast, among other items. ANZU’s Smooth Jazz Sunday Brunch ANZU at Hotel Nikko 222 Mason St., San Francisco, CA 94102 Union Square
Restaurant ANZU’s Smooth Jazz Sunday Brunch simulcasts live every Sunday with 102.9 KBLX, the Quiet Storm. DJs Nikki Thomas and Kevin Brown host ANZU’s brunch live at Hotel Nikko broadcasting various musicians from KBLX and Hotel Nikko’s own Rrazz Room.
