What is Tourism Gives Back?
Successfully promoting San Francisco as a destination means doing our part to enhance the city's communities for everyone. Tourism Gives Back is an industry-led volunteer program, allowing San Francisco Travel staff and partners to learn about and act on the issues affecting the visitor experience.
Past San Francisco Travel volunteer events have supported Project Homeless Connect, Hamilton Families, the Recreation and Parks Department, St. Anthony's, Lava Mae, and others.
Upcoming events include:
- Wednesday, Dec. 11 - 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Be a part of the 76th Community Day of Service with Project Homeless Connect
The PHC Community Day of Service is a one-stop shop service event where individuals experiencing homelessness can access more than 100 critical resources such as medical, dental, and vision car, and free groceries.
