11 Large Venues Beyond San Francisco
Venture beyond city limits for meeting spaces that offer unparalleled amenities, access and possibilities for your next large event.
If you thought San Francisco Travel’s connections to spectacular meeting venues were confined to city limits, think again. Throughout the Bay Area and its surrounding regions, we work with a number of large event spaces that offer all the charm, amenities and state-of-the-art tech you’d expect in San Francisco. These venues outside the city proper have easy transportation access and plenty of room to spread out, even for the biggest conferences and conventions. Here’s a look at some of our favorite large venues beyond city limits.
Cow Palace
You won’t have to travel far to find the Cow Palace, which sits on San Francisco’s border with Daly City. This famous (and memorably named) indoor arena has hosted the Golden State Warriors, countless rodeos, the Democratic National Convention and even The Beatles on their first U.S. tour in 1964. Today, the Cow Palace offers ample parking and multiple buildings comprising 250,000 square feet of flexible event space.
