Devil's Acre (256 Columbus Ave.)
This basement bar in North Beach will give your guests all the speakeasy feels. Their unique list of apothecary-inspired remedies are their main specialties. Devil's Acre can accommodate between 30 and 150 guests in their main bar or Remedie Room.
Local Edition (691 Market St.)
Vintage décor, old school typewriters, and walls lined with hanging newspaper clippings will bring you back to the Roaring Twenties. Spacious yet intimate, Local Edition can accommodate groups of 15 or more guests.
Pagan Idol (375 Bush St.)
Pagan Idol is your tropical paradise in the middle of San Francisco. There are different room options depending on the size of your party. The Captain's Quarters accommodates 30-50 guests. Island Paradise accommodates 50-100 guests. A full venue buyout accommodates groups of 100+ guests.
Emporium SF (616 Divisadero St.)
Pinball, anyone? Unleash your inner gamer at Emporium SF, a former theater reborn as an arcade bar and event venue. Pool tables, air hockey, skee-ball, and much, much more combine with live music and cocktails to make the perfect holiday party. Groups from 8 to as many as 800 guests are welcomed.
Art Attack SF (2358 Market St.)
Get your party's creative juices flowing at this local art gallery, located in San Francisco's vibrant Castro District. Art Attack SF showcases exhibitions of emerging artists primarily from the Bay Area. Their exhibition space is ideal for groups of up to 80 guests (or 65 seats).
The Midway (900 Marin St.)
Looking for a thrilling and unconventional venue? Look no further than The Midway, a 40,000 square foot venue, that can be transformed into virtually anything your creativity desires. Prepare your guests for an epic experience with 360-degree sound components, 30-foot ceilings, and 10 unique event rooms with a whopping 5,000-person capacity. Now that sounds like a party.
Charmaine's (1100 Market St.)
Perched atop the San Francisco Proper, Charmaine's offers stunning panoramic views of the city that make any private event a memorable one. This "social playground" accommodates 100-200 guests for a wide-range of gatherings from black tie to casual events.
Rickhouse (246 Kearny St.)
Featuring 100-year-old whiskey barrels and charred brick, Rickhouse is an industrial-theme bar that is warm and inviting. They have two private event rooms: The Mezzanine (up to 20 guests) and The Parlor (up to 45 guests). You can opt for the full venue buyout, which accommodates up to 120 guests.
