In March, San Francisco Travel hosted a Customer Advisory Council for self-contained meeting and event planners. This strategy and networking meeting for 40 people had a strong business focus and incorporated some of San Francisco’s most iconic tastes and sights.
The meeting was held in the Grand Hyatt San Francisco’s spectacular rooftop venue, with breathtaking panoramic views of the city. During the opening night reception, guests mingled while watching the sun set over San Francisco.

Morning sessions the next day were followed by a networking lunch held on Giants Enterprises’ California Spirit, a 100-foot yacht that cruises the bay. Attendees were able to dine in luxury while exploring the ship.
“The California Spirit is a fantastic new way to see the sights of San Francisco from the water,” said Lisa Starr of MotivAction LLC. “The views are fantastic, the food is great, and the service is top notch!”
The event concluded with a night out at two San Francisco institutions: dinner at Original Joe’s, the Italian-American restaurant that has been delighting San Franciscans since 1937, followed by Beach Blanket Babylon, the legendary musical revue chock full of hilarious pop culture spoofs and memorable costumes.
“Our reception at Original Joe’s, followed by Beach Blanket Babylon, was a great way to see the city and enjoy the culture of San Francisco," said Vicki Johnson of UL LLC.
