Asian Art Museum of San Francisco
The Asian Art Museum is home to one of the most complete and renowned-collections of Asian art in the world, with a collection spanning cultures from Turkey to India and China to the Philippines through 6,000 years. In addition to our collection galleries, don't miss the following exhibitions: Tomb Treasures: New Discoveries from China's Han Dynasty (through May 28, 2017) and Flower Power (June 23-Oct 1, 2017).
The museum also presents educational programs for visitors of all ages, including free gallery tours, live performances and artist demonstrations, storytelling for kids, hands-on art activities, lectures, and talks. Enjoy lunch at Cafe Asia, which offers a range of dishes from a variety of Asian traditions that take advantage of fresh, seasonal ingredients. Open Tuesdays through Sundays 10am-5pm; Thursday until 9 pm (through Sept 28).
