Steps away from the Moscone Center in downtown San Francisco, The Museum of the African Diaspora is a contemporary and fine art museum to hold your event, including product launches, cocktail receptions, holiday parties, fireside chats, offsite retreats, galas, and fundraisers. MoAD is uniquely positioned as *the* Bay Area museum that showcases the history, art and cultural richness of Africans who have migrated throughout the world.

Our dynamic spaces are flexible for your needs -- floor-to-ceiling windows make for a bright and airy cocktail hour in our Lobby. Our Salon is perfect for an offsite retreat, conference, symposium, or intimate seated dinner. The Conference Room can seat up to 24, making for a perfect C-Level meeting room near the Moscone center. Our spaces are best for seated dining for groups of up to 90 guests; theatre style seating for up to 100; or for cocktail style events up to 300. No matter the event, your guests can enjoy a rotating collection of artists from around the world, giving your guests a truly dynamic cultural experience.

MoAD is easily accessible from both Powell and Montgomery BART stations, is surrounded by various shops, restaurants, and hotels, including the adjacent St. Regis Hotel.
