Home to the California Academy of Sciences, de Young Museum, the Conservatory of Flowers, the San Francisco Botanical Garden and more, Golden Gate Park is one of the most visited city parks in the nation.
Local dragon boat crews often practice on Lake Merced. The San Francisco Zoo is Northern California’s largest. Stern Grove (19th Avenue and Sloat) is home to free summer concerts.
