Current Staff Openings:

Manager, Business Applications Support
Position Summary: The Manager, Business Applications Support will play a critical role in the organization by translating business requirements and business data into meaningful reports and dashboards, Salesforce automation and web application improvements. Candidates should have a passion for administering and maintaining data & systems, learning new software and services, producing accurate and concise reports and understanding cross-organizational integrations. He or she should also have strong customer-focus skills, both internally and externally. The ideal person for this position is highly detail-oriented and enjoys working with data, troubleshooting technical issues, general problem solving, working collaboratively and the has the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. He or she should possess excellent communications skills and technical writing skills, as this person will work closely with both technical and non-technical users.Click on the position title for additional details and application instructions. 

Vice President, Special Events
Position Summary: This position leads and manages the Special Events department of San Francisco Travel which is responsible to develop, produce and execute approximately 40 annual events on behalf of the various departments of the company (Sales, Tourism, Marketing, Partnerships).  The events to be managed primarily include major meetings (with 300 – 1000+ attendees), client receptions, sales missions and trade shows. The Vice President, Special Events must ensure that all events are appropriately and consistently branded, produced and delivered with high quality, and at agreed budget levels. This is a new department and the Vice President, Special Events will be charged with redefining the department’s roles, work processes, operating practices, and management structure. Click on the position title for additional details and application instructions. 

Associate, Convention Services & Events
Position Summary: Provide assistance to Sr. Director, Convention Services & Events and Convention Service Managers by processing correspondence, monthly reports, handling phone calls, and maintaining records and files.  Process all requests for promotional material, assist with site inspections and assist Manager, Convention Events with special projects when needed.  Assist meeting planners with referrals for venues, banquet spaces, and other related needs to event planning when no sleeping rooms are required. Click on the position title for additional details and application instructions. 

Manager, Convention Sales California
Position Summary: Manager of Convention Sales is responsible for the lead generation and hotel booking production for convention sales self-contained accounts. (Accounts in California with peak night rooms of 50 or less.) Also, refers any citywide business for Moscone Center from assigned territories to the Director, Citywide Accounts for the appropriate vertical market in order to maximize new and repeat convention business for the City and County of San Francisco.  Manager is responsible for the management of administrative associate.Click on the position title for additional details and application instructions. 

Associate, Visitor Experience (Seasonal)
Position Summary: The Associate, Visitor Experience drives results and enhances the visitors' experience by providing exceptional service that supports San Francisco Travel’s mission by acting as an ambassador at our Visitor Information Center.
