Celebrating 37 Years

The tradition of the SF SPCA Macy's Windows dates back to 1987, when the SF SPCA, a trailblazer in animal welfare, collaborated with the iconic Gump's Union Square to create a unique holiday spectacle. This partnership seamlessly merged the holiday spirit with a noble cause, showcasing adoptable animals in festively themed displays, capturing the imagination of both locals and visitors.

After different locations throughout the years, the SF SPCA partnered with Macy's, its home now for over 20 years.

The Heartwarming Adoption Stories

One of the most uplifting aspects of the SF SPCA Macy's Windows is the success stories that unfold each holiday season.

The windows serve as a captivating stage where animals find not just the warmth from the holiday lights but also loving homes forever. Over the years, more than 10,000 animals have been adopted during this festive season, transforming the windows into portals of hope and joy.

The initiative encourages individuals to participate in the spirit of giving, whether by adopting a furry friend, donating, or simply spreading awareness about responsible pet ownership.
