Dogpatch / Mission Bay

Once a bustling shipyard, the Dogpatch and Mission Bay are now home to waterfront parks, excellent dining, and major league sports.

There's always something new to discover in San Francisco, and the Dogpatch and Mission Bay are at the forefront of what's new.

Mission Bay has quickly become the new center of sport in San Francisco, with the Chase Center serving as home court for the NBA's Golden State Warriors and WNBA's Golden State Valkyries. Events are booked into the arena year-round, from tennis tournaments to stand-up comedy to the world's most in-demand musicians and performers.

Just south of Mariposa Street, the Dogpatch is a sleepy residential neighborhood that's quickly waking up. Bakeries, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants are full of local regulars, giving this little sliver of San Francisco a very welcoming vibe.

Easily accessible by public transit and entirely flat, Dogpatch and Mission Bay are the perfect place to spend an unhurried morning or afternoon during your stay in San Francisco.
