Located in the heart of the SOMA neighborhood, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts a short walk from Union Square,Market Street, and the Moscone Center. YBCA presents contemporary visual art, performances, and films that celebrate innovation and experimentation. From September 16, 2016 through January 15, 2017 Tom Sachs and his team of astronauts set their sights on the next frontier of space exploration in SPACE PROGRAM: EUROPA. Targeting Jupiter's icy moon, Europa, this expansive sculpture exhibition offers an unprecedented view into Sachs' extraordinary artistic output and advances his quest to find extraterrestrial life with bricolaged sculptures. Hours: Tue - Wed, Fri - Sun 11am - 6pm, Thu: 11am - 8pm. $10, $8 seniors, students, teachers. Free gallery admission on the first Tuesday of each month.
