The Pac-12 Football Championship Game returns to the San Francisco Bay Area for 2016 at Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara. The Washington Huskies, champions of the Pac-12 North division, will face the Colorado Buffaloes, champions of the Pac-12 South, on Friday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.
Washington (8-1 in Pac-12 play, 11-1 overall) locked up the North Division title with their victory over Washington State in the Apple Cup. The Huskies will be making their first appearance in the Pac-12 Football Championship Game.
Colorado captured the South title after finishing the regular season with a 8-1 Pac-12 record, 10-2 overall. The Buffaloes posted their first 10-win season since 2001.
Pre-game at Levi’s® Stadium, fans can enjoy RISE's "It Takes All Colors" activation at Pac-12 Plaza, highlighting diversity in sports. This ticketed space can be found at Faithful Mile between Gates A and B, and will feature performances by team mascots, bands, and cheerleaders, as well as interactions with Pac-12 Conference partners, starting at 4 p.m. and closing 15 minutes before kickoff.
