Nightly Tree Lighting
From Nov. 27, 2019 to Jan. 5, 2020, The PIER's 60-foot tree will come to life every half-hour from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. Synchronized to holiday music, the tree will become a kaleidoscope of swirling color, adorned with specialty lights and ornaments. These dazzling tree lighting moments will take center stage throughout the season.

Get even further into the spirit of the season at The PIER while shopping, dining, or sipping on a holiday cocktail or a cup of hot cocoa. PIER 39 & ABC7 Give Back
PIER 39 is partnering with local news station ABC7 to Build a Better Bay Area. On December 8, from 1 – 5 p.m., participating merchants throughout The PIER will donate a portion of their proceeds to the CAL FIRE Benevolent Foundation. Window signage will be visible at the merchant locations involved. The CAL FIRE Benevolent Foundation, supporting the brave firefighters and their families who have been impacted by devastating circumstances, is The PIER's charity beneficiary this 2019 holiday season.
Along with this fundraising effort, guests who visit PIER 39 on December 8 will enjoy special holiday entertainment including: photos with Santa, community holiday performances, holiday crafting with the Museum of Craft & Design, writing letters to Santa with the US Postal Service and an appearance by PIER 39’s Sea Lion mascot, Salty!
PIER 39 is conveniently located where the Embarcadero meets Fisherman's Wharf. Parking is available at the PIER 39 Garage, open every day & 24 hours a day, and located across the street from the Entrance Plaza.
