Turtle Time at the Aquarium of the Bay

It's Turtle Time at the Aquarium of the Bay

The Aquarium's Turtle Time event has ended. Please check the Aquarium for updated event and activity schedules.

Do you know what time it is? Why, it’s “Turtle Time”! Join Aquarium of the Bay at the Sea Lion Center on PIER 39 on Saturday May 20, 2017, where kids will meet and greet turtles, enjoy themed crafts and be treated to a sea turtle story time with a staff naturalist. Join in on the fun with this special event!

The Aquarium is joining the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) in Saving Animals From Extinction with the SAFE campaign, which honors the Western Pond Turtle as well as other turtle species with “Turtle Time.” Buy Turtle Time tickets here to meet Western Pond Turtles up close and personal.

Can’t make it to Turtle Time on the 20th? No problem; additional turtle-themed programming is happening at the Aquarium of the Bay, also located at PIER 39, through May 23. You can visit even more turtles, such as the Red Eared Slider and the Red Footed Tortoise.

Timed-entry tickets for Turtle Time at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. are available online and on-site at the Aquarium and Sea Lion Center, and are based on availability. Member Cost: $15 per child. Non-members: $25.95 per child (includes Aquarium Admission). Adults are complimentary for Turtle Time. Adult Aquarium Admission: $24.95.
