San Francisco Travel Returns to Rose Parade® in 2026, Showcasing Iconic Landmarks and City Spirit

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (August 25, 2025) — The San Francisco Travel Association will bring the city’s iconic charm, diverse culture, and world-renowned hospitality to a global audience when it debuts its first float in nearly 50 years at the 2026 Rose Parade®. In keeping with the parade’s official theme, “The Magic in Teamwork,” San Francisco’s float will celebrate the people, places and shared experiences that unite the city and inspire visitors from around the world.

San Francisco Travel is seeking a dynamic event professional with experience creating and executing events at scale. The position will centralize and streamline internal and external events that drive value for our clients, prospects, stakeholders, and staff and leverage the San Francisco Travel brand. Contribute to the achievement of SF Travel’s financial goals by coordinating key events, missions and tradeshows. The position will require an individual with the capability to work autonomously, with the drive and creativity to collaborate with all departments in planning and executing events.

San Francisco (July 9, 2025) – The San Francisco Travel Association and Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI), a global leader in sales representation for independent luxury hotels and resorts, cruise lines, and destination management companies, announced a new strategic partnership designed to attract more meetings, incentives, and conference business to San Francisco.

This marks ALHI’s first formal partnership with a city destination marketing organization (DMO).
