About the Course

On Sunday, June 9, triathletes will take on a challenging feat by engaging in a demanding 1.5-mile swim from Alcatraz Island to the shoreline of Marina Green. They will then face an 18-mile bike ride through the twisting roads of the Presidio and Golden Gate Park, followed by an 8-mile trail run that leads to and from Baker Beach and the notorious Sand Ladder.
