Where to Stay Near Public Transportation

If you're planning to get to Chase Center via public transportation (which we highly recommend), these are the best places to stay near various Muni and BART lines.


Muni is the quickest and most convenient way to get to Chase Center. Your event ticket is also your Muni fare. Take the T Third Street line to the UCSF/Chase Center stop.

Hotels near the T Third Street line: 


BART is another public transportation option to get to and from Chase Center, especially if you're outside San Francisco city limits. BART connects San Francisco with Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Mateo counties. You can take BART from outside the city to San Francisco's Embarcadero station and then jump on Muni to bring you to Chase Center.

If you're considering staying in the East Bay, there are great hotel options in downtown Oakland near the 12th St. Oakland City Center station. Getting to the Embarcadero BART station from 12th St. Oakland City Center station is a convenient ten-minute ride.

There are also great places to stay in Berkeley, just north of Oakland. Getting to the Embarcadero BART station from the North Berkeley and Downtown Berkeley stations is just a 25-minute ride.

Hotels near San Francisco International Airport (SFO) tend to have cheaper rates than hotels in downtown San Francisco and are connected to the city by BART. Getting to the Embarcadero BART station from the Millbrae/SFO BART station is a 30-minute ride.
