About the Amateur Championship

Beginning on August 11, the best amateur golfers will play 18 holes on each of the Olympic Club's courses. Things to Do Near The Olympic Club

Located in the southwest corner of San Francisco, the Olympic Club is at the edge of San Francisco's Sunset District. One of the largest and most diverse of San Francisco's neighborhoods, the Sunset has those slow, seaside California vibes most visitors expect to find in our busy, funky, idiosyncratic city.

The Sunset lays claim to the majority of San Francisco's Pacific coastline, with the newly opened Sunset Dunes offering visitors two miles of uninterrupted pedestrian thoroughfare on which to take in the gorgeous scenery. You may well work up an appetite on your stroll. No problem; the Sunset has some fantastic restaurants to offer.
