How to Have Summer Fun at Filoli

Head south to Filoli, one of the Bay Area's most beautiful venues with endless activies to choose from.

Take a break from the fog and (literally) smell the roses! Just forty minutes south of the City by the Bay is Filoli, one of the most amazing garden landscapes the Bay Area has to offer. Filoli’s 16 acres of property include a massive Georgian Revival-style mansion, more than 500 rose bushes, sculpture gardens, a cafe and more.

Open every day, Filoli is the perfect addition to your Bay Area summer agenda. Here are some features of the garden we encourage you to check out!

Summer Nights

The best way to celebrate summer’s long days is with a trip to Filoli, which stays open until 8 p.m. every night of the summer until September 21. With local food trucks, the Bluebird Bar and live acoustic music, a Thursday night in the gardens is the perfect way to spend a summer evening.
