How to Eat Your Way Through Terminal 2 in San Francisco International Airport

Pei Ketron, a photographer, traveler and foodie based in San Francisco, took us on a food tour of Terminal 2 in the San Francisco International Airport. This is where she went.

1st Stop: Napa Farms Market
Napa Farms Market offers a variety of organic, sustainable, artisanal and fresh food. Inside the market, there are treats you can only find in San Francisco. You have your choice of sandwiches, pizza and more. Vegan and gluten-free options are available, as is delicious coffee from Equator. The secret surprise is that the market is connected to Vino Volo, the wine bar next door.

2nd Stop: Lark Creek Grill
It didn't take long to investigate the rumors we heard that it has the best mac & cheese in the terminal. Our source can confirm this is 100% true.

3rd Stop: Andale
Andale is a family-owned Mexican restaurant that has been in the Bay Area for more than 25 years. Everything is made fresh to order, nothing is canned. Their grab & go in the cold case is a perfect spot for travelers in a hurry. If you have more time, get the crunchy Tacos Dorados or the El Presidente, a chicken and shrimp burrito.

4th Stop: Wakaba Sushi & Grill
Next to Andale is Wakaba, where sushi is cut and rolled on site and their drink selection is filled with sake. If you want to try a little of everything, get the sushi sampler.

5th & 6th Stop: The Plant and Pinkberry
The Plant is a healthy option that has many vegan and gluten-free options including sandwiches, salads and grain bowls. Do not overlook their coffee and desserts. Connected to the Plant is Pinkberry, the originator in tart frozen yogurt. It's near gate 51B.

Next time you're flying out of Terminal 2, bring your appetite! You won't be disappointed.
