San Francisco’s iconic waterfront gets even more exciting on select Fridays with the Fort Mason Night Market—an open-air celebration of the Bay Area’s best food, art, and culture.

From May through December, the historic Fort Mason Center transforms into a buzzing hub of creativity with more than 100 local makers, 15+ food and drink vendors curated by Off the Grid, live music, DJs, art installations, and interactive experiences.

Live on Larkin returns on June 13 with a free street celebration in the heart of the Tenderloin. Enjoy live music, performances, games, local vendors, restaurants, and more while exploring one of San Francisco’s most vibrant cultural neighborhoods. The Sunset Night Market might be one of the buzziest events of the year, and completely takes over Irving Street from 20th to 25th Street. Focusing on AAPI food, performances, music, and artists, this is one of the best ways to explore San Francisco's diverse culture all in one place.

Valencia LIVE turns the Mission into a vibrant night market filled with music, art, food, and community vibes.

Valencia Street between 16th and 19th transforms into a lively celebration, where you can dance to live music in the streets, browse local makers, grab a bite or a drink, and discover special deals at your favorite neighborhood spots. It’s free, all-ages, and the perfect way to experience the Mission after dark.

What time does the night market start?

Most night markets start around 5:00 pm and can go as late as midnight. Be sure to double-check the event details above for the latest schedule.

Are the SF Night Markets free?

Yes, the night markets are free to attend, with some requesting a suggested donation upon entry to help cover event fees and set up. 

How do I get there?

Public transportation is highly recommended for all these night markets. Most events are located in major areas of the neighborhood, easily accessible by BART, Muni, or rideshare.

Will food and drinks be available?

Yes. Expect a variety of local food vendors, restaurants, drinks, and specialty treats for purchase. Almost all businesses accept major credit and debit cards.
