Behind the Scenes at Oracle Park

Go Behind the Scenes at Oracle Park

It's the ballpark where home runs can be "splash hits" and the breathtaking San Francisco Bay view rivals the action on the field. It's where one of baseball's most hallowed franchises plays inside an architectural landmark. Go behind-the-scenes at Oracle Park on a ballpark tour and access player and staff facilities and park amenities, including the field warning track, the visiting team's dugout, indoor batting cage and clubhouse; the press box, and a luxury suite. Guests will also enjoy a 10-minute documentary on the Giants franchise in the newly-designed theater space.

Included in the tour is a stop through the new museum of treasured artifacts related to the Giants' heritage, The Vault, located within the ballpark. Installed to help commemorate the team's 60th anniversary in San Francisco, The Vault features items such as the final home plate from the Polo Grounds, team-signed baseballs from 1957 and 1958, pennants, scorecards and much more. This year's special exhibit commemorates the 30 year anniversary of the Loma Prieta earthquake and the 1989 World Series that saw the Giants face their Bay Area rivals, the Oakland Athletics.

A variety of customized private tours for groups of any size can also be arranged, from birthday-themed events with Giants mascot Lou Seal to special boxed-lunch inclusion options. On select days, you may be able to catch the Giants take the field for batting practice before watching the game for a unique San Francisco experience.

A ballpark tour is a great option for adults and kids, San Francisco visitors, Giants fans and baseball fanatics. Public tours depart daily from the Giants Dugout Store at Oracle Park at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., except for select game day dates, and last approximately 90 minutes. Additional tours at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. are offered during June, July, and August. Pre-game tours during the season offer the chance to see player warmups from the first three rows directly behind home plate.

2019 blackout dates include: January 1; February 9; April 5, 7, 10, 14, and 27, and 28; May 12, 15, 23, and 26; June 9, 16, 22, 26, and 30; July 7, 21, and 24; August 7, 11, and 14; September 1, 7, 8, 12, 15, 26, and 29; November 28; December 25.
