Find Amaluna-Inspired Cocktails and Dining in San Francisco

To celebrate the return of Cirque du Soleil's "Amaluna" to the San Francisco Bay Area, 11 restaurants are offering specially-themed cocktails inspired by the show. Each cocktail will be available Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, 2019.

Amaluna-Themed Cocktails

Participating restaurant partners and their specialty cocktail inventions include:

The Brixton on 2nd (701 2nd St.): "Amaluna Lovin'"— Brut champagne and crème de cassis with cotton candy garnish.

District (216 Townsend St.): "The Amaluna"— Lavender-infused gin, lime basil sea salt cordial, and creme de violette served up with a sparkling float.

E&O Kitchen and Bar (314 Sutter St.): "Akualele"— Pea flower-infused Zephyr Black Gin, St. Germain liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and pixie star-dusted comet tails.

One Market (1 Market St.): "The Montréal"— Canadian whiskey, sweet vermouth, Pernod, bitters.

Palio Restaurant (640 Sacramento St.): "Luna Riza"— Mezcal, house-made rose vermouth, and Peychaud's Bitters, served up.

Prospect SF (300 Spear St.): "The Amaluna"— Orange zest, mint tea-infused gin, Gran Classico, Dolin Blanc Vermouth, passion fruit purée, citrus peel, lemon, vanilla syrup, butterfly foam.

Roka Akor (801 Montgomery St.): "On Uncertain Winds"— Benham's Gin, Plymouth Gin, Kikusui Junmai Ginjo Sake, simple syrup, lemon juice, creme de violette, vanilla bitters, assorted flower petals.

Scopo Divino (2800 California St.): "The Amaluna" — Cava Cocktail with dash of Blue Curaçao.

Tabletop Tap House (175 4th St.): "Amaluna 1"— Blue Curacao, fresh lemon juice, Prosecco, splash of Sprite, garnished with a lemon peel and a filthy cherry. "Amaluna 2"— Blue Curacao, Tito's Vodka, Dole pineapple juice, served up with and orange twist.

Tres Tequila Lounge & Mexican Kitchen (130 Townsend St.): "La Luna"— Se Busca Mezcal, Pueblo Viejo Anejo, honey, Golden Gate cider, lemon, mint.

Waterbar SF (399 The Embarcadero): "The Tempest No. 2"— Flor de Caña seven-year-old rum, turmeric tea, honey, lemon, ginger, egg white.

Additional Dining Treats

Scopo Divino will also offer a signature "Amaluna"-inspired brunch dish, "The Miranda": sweetened goat cheese-stuffed French toast with macerated blueberries, powdered sugar, and mint.

In addition, Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream will bring back its custom "Amaluna" flavor, "Tempest." "Tempest" is a crème fraîche-based ice cream with blueberry compote swirls, paying homage to the twists of the storms and seas that drive the plot of the show. Beginning Friday, Nov. 1, "Tempest" will be available at all four San Francisco Bay Area Humphry Slocombe locations, including the Ferry Building Marketplace. In addition, all Humphry Slocombe locations will hold an enter-to-win contest during the month of November for one four-pack of tickets to attend "Amaluna" in San Francisco.

Show Information

Loosely inspired by William Shakespeare's "The Tempest," "Amaluna"'s epic love story takes place on a mysterious, lush island ruled by goddesses, and offers another installment of Cirque's famous and beloved "nouveau cirque" style, with a strong central storyline told by amazing acrobatic performers, set to continuous live music. "Amaluna" runs Nov. 3, 2019 - Jan. 12, 2020 under the Big Top at Oracle Park's Lot A.
